Paper Stop-Motion Films

I experimented by creating these short, mixed media paper films. The use of the mixed elements on top of the film adds a human element. I wanted to really join the use of art and film together. Edgar Wrights films are inspired by comics, hence I tried to add this cartoon element, as well as colour to make the figure stand out. In the 'La La Land' short i wanted to add onto the element of movement within the shots as the two characters are dancing. The Lines around hold connotations of a string tying them together as a couple. Furthermore, the stars add an abstract element contrasting to the real figures.
